Candidates must have a degree in accounting with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and should be actively working towards meeting the 150 hour requirement to obtain a CPA license. The Candidate should also have previous accounting experience through an internship or other activities and be able to communicate effectively and have strong organizational and analytical skills.

Tax Department

The Tax Department of Ellin & Tucker has opportunities available for entry-level accountants in our Baltimore office.

The Tax Department provides complete tax service, which includes not only the preparation of Federal, State and local tax returns but business and personal tax planning as well. Tax professionals assist clients in planning their operations and develop strategies to minimize taxes.

Ideal candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting and at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average. The candidate should also be actively working towards meeting the 150 hour requirement for the CPA exam. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and have strong organizational and analytical skills.
